Nov 20, 2019 Gamblers Anonymous is a 12-step recovery program and support group in which men and women share their experiences, struggles, wisdom, and support about problem gambling. 1 There are no dues or paperwork to join Gamblers Anonymous; the only requirement is that you want to end your gambling problem. 1 Though Gamblers Anonymous is not associated with any religious group or political affiliation. The Forum is a core part of the Gambling Help Online service. It is a non-threatening peer-moderated community, and is designed to assist you in your road towards recovery. Its main aims are to: Promote solidarity and healing through shared experience and connection with peers. The February 10th Business Meeting will have the first discussion about disbanding or reorganizing GASN as we know it. As this is a topic of great importance – a Discussion forum has been set up for just this topic.

WHAT IS COMPULSIVE GAMBLING?
The explanation that seems most acceptable to Gamblers Anonymous members is that compulsive gambling is an illness, progressive in its nature, which can never be cured, but can be arrested. Before coming to Gamblers Anonymous, many compulsive gamblers thought of themselves as morally weak, or at times just plain ‘no good’. The Gamblers Anonymous concept is that compulsive gamblers are really very sick people who can recover if they will follow to the best of their ability a simple program that has proved successful for thousands of other men and women with a gambling or compulsive gambling problem.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

07/13/2020: Unity Club (900 E Karen Ave, Suite D – Room 204, Las Vegas, NV 89109) has meetings 10 am Mon-Fri, 8:30 am Sat., 8 pm Mon-Sat., 11 am and 6 pm (Speaker Meeting) on Sunday. Masks are required.

Entrance at the back of the building.), Monday thru Friday, 1:30-3:00 and 12pm Sat/Sun GA meetings. The 6 ft social distancing of chairs is mandatory in the meeting room.
